Personal Software Projects

This area of my website showcases personal software projects I have developed, both for research and just for fun. Many of these projects are small open-source hacks that I created to scratch my own personal itches. Some of these projects are hosted on GitHub.

Contrary to widely-held stereotypes of MIT students as precocious teenage hackers, I didn't start writing software for fun until my senior year of college. I grew up with almost no childhood background in computer programming, but as I learned more about programming in college, I became more interested in being a creator rather than simply a user of software.
